Sweet Pizza

Before I started this blog, I always wanted to make a chocolate pizza. I looked for some recipes on the internet, but couldn't find one that actually worked. I've tried several times to make a chocolate pizza, but the chocolate and marshmallows got burnt. Eventually I found a perfect way to do it. I mixed the chocolate with ricotta (this way the chocolate doesn't burn) and I put the marshmallows on top at the very last minute of the pizza being in the oven. My friend Renske came over and I let her taste the pizza. She thought it was delicious!!!

Makes 2 big or 4 small pizza's.

For the pizza dough you will need: 1 tsp yeast, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar, 100 ml lukewarm water, 1 tbs olive oil, 100 g all purpose flour, 100 g semolina

For the topping you will need: 200 g ricotta, 75 g dark chocolate (we used 52%), 2 tbsp honey, 6-8 marshmallows, a piece of white chocolate, a handful of fresh raspberries, some mint leaves

Extra: Kitchenaid, grater

1. Mix the yeast with the salt, sugar and water in a bowl.

2. Put the flour and semolina in a bowl (or Kitchenaid), add the yeast mixture and olive oil and kneed until you have a soft dough. If it's too dry add some more water, if it's too sticky ad some more flour. Grease a bowl, put the dough in it, cover the bowl with a moist tea towel and put it in a warm area to let it double in size, for about 1 hour.

3. Preheat oven to 450 F/ 225 C. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.

4. Mix the ricotta with the chocolate and honey in a bowl.

5. Divide the dough into 2 or 4 equal pieces (each piece becomes one pizza). Using a rolling pin, roll out each piece of dough on a lightly floured surface. Place the rolled out dough on a greased baking sheet. Spread the ricotta mixture onto the pizza, use the back of a spoon. Bake the pizza's for about 10 minutes. If you make small pizza's you can bake 2 pizzas at the same time.

6. In the meantime, cut the marshmallows in half with scissors.

7. Take out the pizza(s) and put on the cut up marshmallows. Bake the pizza(s) for one more minute.

8. Take them out of the oven again and flatten the marshmallows a little with the back of a spoon. Grate some white chocolate over the pizza. Garnish with raspberries and mint. Cut it in slices.

ENJOY!!!
